About me

I studied biology and public relations and worked in the IT industry for ten years. My interest in hypnosis started many years ago when I attended a course on "problem solving with self-hypnosis". After training in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (LCCH), I set up my own practice in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire in 2004.

As a member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis, I adhere to a code of practice that is based on confidentiality and respect. My approach is based on the framework and techniques of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), in which hypnosis can but doesn't have to be used.

Since 2005 I have been a volunteer therapist for Anxiety UK. Apart from seeing private clients, I also provide workshops, seminars and talks to corporate clients.
